Been loving & intrigued by the very hipster billboards & bus stop ads of a dog or cat photo & the letters “NKLA” - no slogan, no website.
So if you were wondering like me what these ads were for…
NKLA stands for “No Kill LA”. It is a movement and group of individuals and organizations working to make Los Angeles a No-Kill city for animals that are waiting to be adopted.
The Problem: “Last year, over 56,000 dogs and cats entered Los Angeles city shelters. More than 17,000 beautiful, healthy or treatable shelter pets were killed.”
NKLA is working towards making that number 0.

KONY 2012
“It’s hard to look back on some parts of human history because when we heard about injustice, we cared but we didn’t know what to do - too often we did nothing but if we are going to change that, we have to start somewhere.”
KONY 2012
- watch it - send it to a friend - tell a stranger - make Joseph Kony famous -
“Nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come.”
Jedidiah
Rooted in Love.
Jedidiah is a humanitarian-based brand that uses the media of apparel & art to cultivate change. Jedidiah partners every season with different non-profit organizations and causes to create a line of products that raise money for those causes and spread awareness. The head designer Kelli Murray fuses her passion for fashion & illustration to create unique graphics that celebrate the heart of the causes (and happens to be one of my FAVORITE illustrators).
